Channels Crossing 2 Levels
The channels linking Centres in even-numbered levels form a pattern that is naturally disconnected from the pattern of channels linking Centres in odd-numbered levels.
There is no direct influence between the G7 Centre and G5 Centres.
Why?
The Centres in even-numbered levels deal with stabilization of self in the face of the challenge and enable stamina:
- are reference points,
- provide personal balance,
- promises continuity.
These Channels are dealt with in the previous topic.
The Centres in odd-numbered levels deal with stabilization of efforts in responding to the challenge and enable persistence:
- is oriented to progress,
- deals with disruptions,
- maintains morale after setbacks.
These Channels are dealt with below.
Channels Stabilizing Your Efforts
G5S-Accept Assigned Responsibility ↔ Develop Endurance-G3P
Down: Accepting an assigned responsibility () means being willing to see something through by handling any issues or difficulties that may arise. That means it will add to burdens that directly demand and shape personal endurance () . In this regard, are not immediately relevant.
Up: Developing endurance () moves you into a frame of mind in which you are ready and willing to take on responsibilities are assigned () to you on top of any disruptions or difficulties. You do not necessarily expect support from your relationships.
The Channel is provisionally named: Suffer Extra Burdens
An Inappropriate Channel
A direct channel between and is not appropriate. Emergence of a particular obstacle or upset that must be addressed (even if not effectively) need have no connection with a specific assigned responsibility. Connection becomes possible if mediated via or via .
G5P-Declare Your Capabilities ↔ Find a Means to Prevail-G3S
Down: Declaring capabilities () encourages, shapes or even determines how you handle obstacles that emerge and need attention (). This is a practical matter that can bypass relationships ().
Up: Finding a means to prevail () will naturally include drawing on capabilities you make available () so that you can deal with the obstacles that emerge.

An Inappropriate Channel
A direct channel between and is not appropriate. There is no natural link between recognizing and announcing your own capabilities () to a mindset adjustment (): these are two independent personal resources. You may have capability but minimal endurance (e.g. a gifted person who folds under stress) or you may endure with minimal capability (e.g. a dogged person with limited skills).
G3P-Develop Endurance ↔ Instil Hope-G1B
Down: Endurance () is a direct contributor to hope () because it reveals that you are not going away and not giving up the effort to get the desired improvement. This channel takes determination () for granted.
Up: Hope () makes endurance () possible by keeping the effort meaningful and infused with a positive spirit. Hope provides faith that the ongoing and seemingly never-ending stress and distress are worthwhile.
The Channel is provisionally named: Never Give Up.
G3S-Find a Means to Prevail ↔ Instil Hope-G1B
Down: Finding a means to prevail () will directly generate hope () because it shows that you intend to act and respond forcefully to whatever obstacle emerges so as to prevail. This channel takes determination () for granted.
Up: Hope () provides faith in being successful and fosters activity and initiative. It therefore underpins the search for a means to prevail ().
