Functions of the Groupings

The Groupings and their Groups are ways to differentiate the use of energy and positivity within the hierarchical stratification of willingness.

The full picture can be seen in the review section. Here is a summary of what will be developed and explained in the Topics to follow:

 G1:

Hope arrives via the 7 vehicles of faith that a person activates when choosing to attempt the impossible.

The vehicles are specified by 7 Monads (1 Level per Group) that parallel the levels of willingness in the Primary Hierarchy.

Hope is the basis for imagining that improvement will be possible. However, a concern emerges about whether the attempt will be abandoned at the first hint of difficulty ... which forces a move to G2.

G2:

Determination is communicated by one or more of the 6 promises of continuity related to improving the situation.

These promises are specified by 6 Dyads (2 adjacent Levels per Group) which make the attempt unequivocal.

Determination is the basis for initiating an attempt. However, a concern emerges about whether the effort will be kept going ... which forces a move to G3.

G3:

Endurance is developed by 5 means of prevailing in the face of obstacles and set-backs.

These means are specified by 5 Triads (3 adjacent Levels per Group) which are explicit about what is happening.

Endurance is the basis for establishing any attempt at improvement. However, a concern emerges about whether personal balance will be retained in the face of stresses that buffet efforts... which forces a move to G4

G4:

Balance is retained by 4 preservers of relationship because social support is critical for any change.

These preservers are specified by 4 Tetrads (4 adjacent Levels per Group) which call for reliability in relating.

Balance is the basis for protecting the evolution of any attempt in the social situation. However, a concern emerges about whether the capability being applied will be sufficient ... which forces a move to G5.

G5:

Capability is activated by 3 sources of support that enable any attempt to progress effectively.

These sources are specified by 3 Pentads (5 adjacent Levels per Group) which call for reflection on progress.

Capability is the basis for directing efforts as the situation itself evolves. However, a concern emerges about the values embedded in any attempt... which forces a move to G6.

G6:

Ideals are manifested via 2 bases of proficiency affecting comfort in intervening.

These bases are specified by 2 Hexads (6 adjacent Levels per Group) which emphasizes an being intelligent in whatever is done.

Ideals are the basis for valuing assistance in the situation. However, a concern emerges about energies that will be released ... which forces a move to G7.

G7:

Energies are released via a state of responsiveness that provides an orientation to what is needed.

This singular state is specified by the 1 Heptad (7 adjacent Levels in the single Group) which integrates all willingness elements and ensures an unselfish approach.

Energy is the basis for powering attempts that seem impossible. However, a concern emerges about the current state of affairs ... which forces a move to G1 ...

Schema for Exposition of Groupings????

In describing each of the Groupings, I will initially explain why it exists in terms of what comes before, and propose formal names for the Grouping and its Groups. Then I will identify:

Function: The unique purpose of the Grouping and also how each of the Groups exists to support this.

Quality: The qualifier that characterizes how the function is to be performed and how it emerges from the highest monad in the Grouping.

Structure: How the Levels within each Group in the Grouping are bound together and affect functioning. This will not apply to G1.

Dysfunction: The way that personal functioning in the Grouping fails to deliver on its potential.

Destructiveness: The way that a person deliberately prevents operation of the Grouping.
