Even More Egotism
Egotism is Requisite
As repeatedly emphasized, the frameworks in this Satellite are grounded in . That means it is egotistic in nature. However, it is proposed that this is a healthy egotism, one that can even be enlightened. In addition, the context is always . In other words, there is no neglect of social life and its importance for individual well-being and advancement.
The formulations offered in the present framework for self-reliance are presented as requisite i.e. indispensable and appropriate.
However, we now know that every Tree can have an egotistic version. In these situations, instead of asking what handling is requisite i.e. correct, ethical and appropriate, a person considers their preferred handling.
Becoming Self-centred
A fully self-centred attitude leads to an adjustment to the THEE Tree so that pressures (i.e. as in the root hierarchy) dominate. These Tree frameworks are formed as follows:
- Dominance at L3, L5 and L6 is reversed so that personal factors dominate in the higher steering/contextual pole, and social factors dominate in the lower practical pole.
- Centre state names remain but the verbs change to a standard form, with the crucial L4B centre demanding the person feel good about it.
- Channels of influence are standard across all frameworks.
The consequence of this is that the lower pole is less concerned with responsibility and more with actualization, while the upper pole is less concerned with integration and more with transcendence of the current reality.
The two Trees are compared below.

Comparison
Self-reliance demands a lot. It is a mature position that will earn respect.
The self-centred Tree much less so. The Tree reveals a demand for socio-economic support, and the right to impose personal creative preferences. There is a loss of influence and difficulty in handling unfavourable exchanges. There also appears to be a tendency to take possibly unwise risks and be over-assertive in public with ego-driven contests.
- This completes the Satellite for now.
