Naming the Framework
Taxonomic Guidance
The framework to be investigated and formulated is : the structural hierarchy that can be derived from the , which was derived from the Spiral for , itself developed from the , the Principal Typology of the Change Domain. See THEE path.
Frameworks are developed from observations, the literature and first principles. Paradoxically, this discovery is often easier than naming the framework being discovered. However, lack of a name to guide investigation often makes clarification of the elements rather difficult.
A taxonomic research principle states that frameworks with similar formulae will show some underlying similarity and this should offer guidance for naming. So when investigating the Change Domain structural hierarchy that emerges from (primal means) and (primal need), the first check is the names provided for homologous structures investigated in other Primary Domains.
In this case, two related frameworks have been posted:
: posted 2009 and named then Participation in Political Life.
: posted 2011 and named then Expectations of Employment.
A systematic study of naming Domain Controls carried out much later in 2014-2016, offered a specific logic for naming based on the Spiral-derived triplet: original tree—structural hierarchy—final tree.
The original Tree is the vehicle for control and named Determinants of the Primal Need. The final Tree forms a Control Field that ensures the Primal Means serves the Primal Need. The structural hierarchy is about increasing the effects of the Domain's psychosocial pressure. While the pressure evidently assists in meeting the Primal Need, it does not provide a suitable name.
Applying this line of thought here, will likely —but this is too general and does not link to clarification or fitness. After some false starts, the name which has been adopted is: «». Rather than blindly attempting to fit in at all costs, everyone needs to determine whether there is a mutual fit. The framework appears to provide the components that enable this determination.
