Oscillation in Groupings

Oscillation betweeis a standard feature in THEE frameworks.

Studies of unfolding dualities led to a re-focus on the oscillation in structural hierarchies in general, and this particular framework specifically.

The pattern which appears to be present deals with political agency and is shown in the table and explanations below.

G4 Formal inquiries and policy systems convert political differences into usable proposals. Exercises political agency through knowledge and policy formulation.
G5 Election, appointment and emergence authorize leaders to act for groups or society. Constitutes authorized political agents.
G6 Leadership channels the imperatives, power and wealth residing in the population. Exercises society's collective political power.
G7 Unity and sovereignty make society capable of determining its own fate. Constitutes society itself as a political agent.

Odd-numbered Groupings Constitute Agency

These groupings form or authorize a political actor.

G1: Responsibility must be assumed and this turns a member of society into a committed political participant. This is unavoidable participation, distinct from choosing to become a political player.

G3: Mobilization organizes people around a desired outcome, with explicit specification ofboth the mobilizer and the mobilized.

G5: Authorization identifies and socially recognizes elected, appointed or emergent leaders.

G7: Sovereignty and unity constitute society as a collective entity able to determine its own fate.

Even-numbered Groupings Exercise Agency

These groupings use or channel political power.

G2: Political work applies personal and role-based power using one or more of the six instruments of influence.

G4: Clarifying differences through formal inquiry exercises political capability through management of inquiry, knowledge, analysis and public-policy formulation.

G6: Political will is society’s intrinsic power and leaders must respect and channel it through their decisions which invariably affect society’s wealth.
