Agency and its Exercise
Oscillation in Groupings
Oscillation betweeis a standard feature in THEE frameworks.
Studies of unfolding dualities led to a re-focus on the oscillation in structural hierarchies in general, and this particular framework specifically.
The pattern which appears to be present deals with political agency and is shown in the table and explanations below.
| Grouping | Structural Functon | Oscillation |
|---|---|---|
| G1 | Recognizing social responsibility creates committed political participants. | Constitutes the individual political agent. |
| G2 | Political players use instruments of influence to affect what others do or receive. | Exercises personal and role-based political power. |
| G3 | Mobilization turns individuals and groups into a collectivity capable of producing a result. | Constitutes a collective political agent. |
| G4 | Formal inquiries and policy systems convert political differences into usable proposals. | Exercises political agency through knowledge and policy formulation. |
| G5 | Election, appointment and emergence authorize leaders to act for groups or society. | Constitutes authorized political agents. |
| G6 | Leadership channels the imperatives, power and wealth residing in the population. | Exercises society's collective political power. |
| G7 | Unity and sovereignty make society capable of determining its own fate. | Constitutes society itself as a political agent. |

Moving up the Groupings, the scale of the constituted agent progressively expands:

G5: Authorized Leadership →
G7: Sovereign Society.

Moving up the Groupings, the scale of the resource that is exercised progressively increases:
G2: Personal Influence →
G4: Recognized Knowledge →
G6: Power & Wealth of Society .
