Maintaining the Flow
Now it’s your turn............suggest the best descriptors for the influence flowing in the Channels joining Centres in adjacent Levels.
The aim is to give ourselves (and others) a solid genuine feel for the influences (types of power) in the channels.
Everyone is welcome to participate in one of two ways:
1. by proposing "the nature of the influence"
If you do this you must include a brief explanation with brief examples.
2. by voting for a particular formulation.
Here are some hints to help clarify the influence:
● Adjust names. Feel free to alter the exact name of the centre without changing its nature e.g. it might be easier for you to find an example by avoiding "" and instead referring to «» or «» and so on.
● Noun ↔ Verb. You can also alter the name to the nounal form if that helps you explain. e.g. «» sounds all right, but «» sounds a bit odd (to me anyway).
● Be Brief. Keep explanations brief--not more than a few sentences or so for each directional influence.
● Create Distinctions.. Avoid synonyms for "influence" or for the hierarchical relation: i.e. terms like «requires», «needs», «implies», «affects» &c apply to every single channel in each direction. It is a good idea to check your notion to see if it fits nearly everywhere. If it does, it is not what is needed.
● Try. Propose something that is not quite right rather than suggest nothing at all. Knowing why something is wrong is a great help, also you will give yourself and others a target to criticize and improve on.
● What Doesn't Work. A proposed channel may be dysfunctional or meaningless for some reason. This needs to be identified and explained.
