Psychosocial Pressure Summary

In the matrix below, the provisional Framework Names are provided in the top row with the critical psychosocial pressure just below. That pressure determines the particular PH-L required in the emergent re-ordered Root Level Tree.

Remember that the elements in the Trees were given in advance: they emerged from investigation of the oscillating duality.

It is not obvious why the frameworks have the elements that they do without invoking the logic of the analytic schema for handling life's challenges. The provisional verbal modifiers of the elements have been developed in the present inquiry.

The elements of the 7 emergent Root Tree frameworks qualified by the conjectured psychosocial pressure are shown L to R in order of the originating Primary Hierarchies (at bottom), and with the usual vertical arrangement (L7 at top).

Inquiry Background

Here is a summary of how this matrix was developed.

Inquiry Challenge. How do the hierarchies that are built on Centres with identical PH-L numbers contribute to human functioning?

Inquiry Process. The original entry to understanding depended on two conjectures:

  1. the special effort associated with reversal of the oscillating duality

  2. the move of Willingness elements to the KL4B position in the Tree.

As a result, I created a «scaffold for inquiry» that is available here.

Inquiry Break-through: Progress was slow and uncertain until I developed the following conjectures from investigating the Root Projection to Primary Hierarchies and Principal Typologies:

  1. This Root Level derives from a specific form of innate (instinctual) behavior. Each instinct is an affective drive which gives rise to a specific psychosocial pressure.
  2. Each PH framework has the pressure of its own Root Level. Each level within a PH has a one-to-one correspondence to a Root Level (i.e. RH-L# is specific for PH-L#) and has the pressure of that level.
  3. Because the «emergent frameworks» are re-ordered Root Level Trees, a standard psychosocial pressure applies at each level (KL) in the Tree, independent of the nature of the Centre element at that level.

An understanding of these frameworks has moved forward solidly by using the psychosocial pressures postulate—as indicated in the above matrix.
