What are wildcards?

A wildcard is a character that may be used in a search term to represent one or more other characters.
1) The question mark (“?”) may be used to represent a single alphanumeric character in a search expression. For example, searching for the term “ho?se” would yield results which contain such words as “house” and “horse”.
2) An asterisk (“*”) may be used to specify zero or more alphanumeric characters. For example, searching for the term “h*s” would yield results which contain such words as “his”, “homes”, “houses”, “horses”,etc.

The context of the search term is provided. Where the context includes a heading or is a list, it may not read naturally.
"Terms matched: x" refers to the number of terms you entered in the search field that were matched on this page.
"Score: x" is the search engine's estimate of the relevance of the page found.

What is the difference between selecting "Match Any" and "Match All"?

This only applies when you have put more than one search term in the search field, and have not enclosed them in double quotation marks.
"Match any" will find any webpage that has at least one of your terms.
"Match all" will only find those webpages that contain all of your terms.
