Political Leadership in Society

To get an overview picture of the pattern for each type of leader, click on the titles below:

ClosedElected Leadership

Elected leadership is based on the lower five levels: grounded in group power at the base, and claiming the public interest at the highest.

ClosedAppointed Leadership

Appointed leadership in society is based in the rule of law but at the highest level applies moral precepts.

ClosedEmergent Leadership

Emergent leadership is able to identify unmet communal needs and promote official decisions.

We will now emphasize how the three types of political leader differ in their handling of the same arena of societal/political responsibilities-CG1.
